Hi,

After a wee bit of ‘footering’ I’ve managed to finally get some of the photographs up that were taken away back in February!

This was the great day we had in memory of one of our regular patrons organised by his sons and in aid of a very worth-while cancer charity.

It’s just one of the many events we like to hold in aid of good causes – the next big one is the Macmillan Cancer care Big Fish 2009 on the 13th June. As well as raising a lot of money for the charity, there is up to £1000 of cash prizes up for grabs at the Carbeth fishery – see in the lodge for more details or go to: www.macmillan.org.uk and look for the link to the ‘Big Fish’.

If I’m honest, I’ve still to iron out some of the technical things but I hope some of you enjoy it.

It’s very much the plan to regulary update the photogallery, so if we miss you (and more importantly – a big fish!) send us any photo’s you have to the email address.

I can’t promise to get them all up, but we’ll do what we can.
