i recentley visited carbeth for the first time in a few years,,
i used to work in carbeth for a bout a year when mr rankine was the owner,,
i took a 4 hour 3 fish kill ticket,,
after setting up my flyrod i was into a solid rainbow in my first cast-which i lost,,
i then returned the fly to roughly the same area and bang again,,- this time i managed to net the fish which was lovely hard fighting rainbow and put up a great fight,,

within the next hour i managed to get my limit all on various flies from damsels to traditionals and i was delighted with the qaulity and the hard fight that these fish were putting up,,,

i then decided to swith to some size 10 buzzers for catch and release and i had fantastic sport,,,releasing another 4 fish and dropping about 6.

i was really suprised by the fantastic sport that i had in such a short space of time and i will certainley be returning to catch these hard fighting rainbows.
