I need a calendarectomy the one I have is bust. and there have been many, many, many, of you willing to perform the op.

Or maybe it’s just me being stupid.

The competition is on Sunday 26th of July, starting at 0900, pegs will be drawn at 0830 – so best to get there by then. Usual answer to the cost question, it’s the same £15.oo three fish ticket, although those fluff-chuckers who wish to catch and release may do so and aim for the most fish caught prize.

Other prizes include heaviest fish and heaviest bag (bait pond) and as above, most caught with heaviest bag for those taking fish.

That said, if you’re just not the competitive type of person, you are more than welcome to fish normally on one of the ‘odd’ pegs to allow the competitors to take the even ones.

We’ll have lots to talk through afterwards, mainly about setting up a club structure (don’t worry nothing too scary or boring) and plans for the future, to perhaps include tagged fish prizes as well as a trip later this year.
